Washington Hospital Services Industry Partner LifeNet Health recognized Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital for its outstanding support for the gift of tissue donation. LifeNet Health presented the Tissue Donation Standards of Excellence Award to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital for its commitment and efforts to achieve and sustain high standards for initiating the donation process.
This past year, Yakima Valley Memorial achieved a 96 percent timely referral rate, ensuring that the gift of donation was a viable option for those whom LifeNet and Yakima Valley Memorial serve. Despite the adverse impacts of COVID, the partnership with LifeNet continued to fulfill final wishes and facilitate hope and healing to both donor families and grateful recipients. This would not have been possible without the dedication of all the Yakima Valley Memorial team members. LifeNet recognizes the ongoing support of executive leadership, and all levels of management and staff.
