Following a nationwide search, we are excited to welcome Chris Bandoli as our new senior vice president for policy and advocacy. Chris — who has served as the director of government affairs for Regence BlueShield since 2007 — will begin his work at WSHA later this month, filling the spot previously held by Executive Vice President and incoming President and CEO Cassie Sauer.
Chris’ background includes work directing government affairs strategy and execution, work on regulatory issues, developing and maintaining partnerships, and managing political action committees. He has a master’s degree in political management from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and has also worked in the nation’s capital, most notably for the Association for Professionals in Infection Control & Epidemiology. We are thrilled to have him join our team! (Cassie Sauer)
