WSHA’s Safe Deliveries Roadmap initiative — in collaboration with the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) — will host an in-person Learning Collaborative from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 at Interurban Hotel in Tukwila. The Learning Collaborative, “AIMing for Equity: Every Woman, Every Time,” will bring together hospital teams to learn about creating an obstetrical cardiopulmonary protocol, collaborating with the emergency department for improving outcomes in the fourth trimester and exploring issues that have led to birth inequities. The event is intended for OB providers, OB and maternal-newborn nurses, midwives, OB data professionals and quality teams. Register online using the password WSHA2019.
The event is part of WSHA’s continuing work with AIM to decrease severe maternal morbidity and mortality. (Michele Kulhanek)
