HB 1337, the physician licensure compact bill, passed the House with a vote of 94 to 3. The bill would provide an expedited licensure process for physicians who seek to be licensed in multiple states.
SB 5436 passed the Senate 49-0. The bill makes the definition of “home” more flexible in the state’s telemedicine law. For example, instead of having to be at their home to connect to a provider, a patient could be at their workplace or other setting that the patient determines appropriate. The change allows the patient more flexibility of location for receiving telemedicine services.
