“WSHA is pleased that Gov. Inslee has issued guidelines for when medical procedures can be performed under the current order restricting non-urgent procedures, and we thank him for his guidance. This much-needed clarification will help ensure patients are able to get the care they need, when they need it, maintaining the quality of life for our friends, family and neighbors. The requirements set forth are reasonable for when a hospital or clinic has the supplies and capacity to perform procedures, and we will continue to do everything we can to ensure our hospital members have the support they need to meet the requirements and continue serving their communities.
“As we prepare for a potential COVID-19 surge this fall, we hope to begin offering additional medical services soon, such as cancer screenings. Patients rely on this care for their wellbeing, and we want to be there for our communities.
