SB 6519, Senate Health Care Committee — Concerning expanding patient access to health services through telemedicine and establishing a collaborative for the advancement of telemedicine. WSHA testified in support.
HB 2931, House Labor & Workplace Standards Committee – Restricting the use of noncompetition agreements. This is a broad bill that would apply to hospitals. WSHA will testify in opposition.
Tuesday, February 2
HB 2452, House Health Care & Wellness Committee — Creating the interstate medical licensure compact. WSHA will testify in support.
SB 6558, Senate Health Care Committee — Allowing a hospital pharmacy to include individual practitioner offices and multipractitioner clinics owned and operated by a hospital and ensuring such offices and clinics are inspected according to the level of service provided. WSHA will testify in support.
