WSHA is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Joe Hopkins Memorial Award! Make a nomination online through Thursday, Sept. 19. The award will be presented at WSHA’s CEO Retreat at Salish Lodge in Snoqualmie Oct. 2-4.
The Joe Hopkins Memorial Award is given each year as a lifetime achievement award to an individual who has made lasting contributions to our state’s health care landscape throughout their career. Given the weight of this award, we restrict nominations to hospital administrators and board members.
This award is WSHA’s most prestigious honor, and the recipient will not know before the event that they will receive the award. A panel of previous winners chose the recipient each year.
WSHA’s other awards – the Community Health Leadership Award and the Ben Lindekugel Governance Excellence Award – will be given once again in spring 2025. More details, including the nomination timeline, will follow early next year. However, applications are always open for the Rural Quality Everyday Extraordinary Award, which will also be given in spring 2025.
We look forward to seeing our members in October!
Sincerely,
Ashley Trotti
