Hospital and health system boards have a lengthy list of critical topics needing attention, but board members are generally busy with professional and personal obligations. Lengthening board meetings or adding more meetings to the calendar are not ideal solutions. This session will present techniques to maximize the board’s efficiency so that board meeting time can be appropriately directed to mission-critical discussions.
