The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has designed a toolkit to assist hospitals with the implementation of evidenced-based practices in both, fall and pressure injury prevention. The toolkits developed support health care facilities design, develop, operationalize and importantly, sustain an effective fall and pressure injury prevention program.
The Washington State Hospital Association (WSHA) is committed to support, guide and assist hospital staff in implementing a fall and pressure injury prevention programs. A high-quality prevention program requires an interdisciplinary approach to implement and operationalize best practices that include fundamental elements: organizational leadership, effective teamwork and communication.
