Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital in Marysville added 30 new inpatient beds this summer to respond to community need for treatment for mental health and substance use concerns. The hospital now houses 145 beds and continues to offer a full continuum of behavioral health services for adults and adolescents ages 13-17.
“We are excited to announce the expansion of services that will allow us to treat more patients. In particular, we are increasing our adolescent units to include 45 beds,” said Austin Martin, Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital CEO. “Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital has served the community for seven years by providing a full continuum of specialized services to all patients, regardless of ability to pay.”
A separate addition was built to allow Smokey Point Behavioral to treat more patients in specialized programs including dual diagnosis, detoxification, adolescent, women’s and adult programs. The hospital also expanded outpatient hospital programming to strengthen the continuum of care with Intensive Outpatient Programs and support groups for those struggling with mental health and substance use.
