Attendees at this year’s Rural Hospital Leadership Conference will have the opportunity to attend the breakout session “Navigating Washington’s New Hospital Staffing Laws: How Governance Boards Can Support Implementation,” led by the WSHA team of Gena Cooper, Darcy Jaffe and Ashlen Strong.
In 2023, Washington passed a comprehensive new hospital staffing law that will require significant operational changes and new resources. Participants in this breakout session will learn what governance board members need to know to support their hospitals in successfully implementing the new law. WSHA staff will present an overview of the law, and a WSHA member panel will discuss how boards should be engaged in supporting their hospitals.
This session will take place from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, June 26 in the Stehekin Ballroom. We hope you can join us at the Rural Hospital Leadership Conference in Chelan next month. For more information and to register, please click here. (Ashley Trotti)
