WSHA and hospital members will return to Olympia Feb. 11, 2025, for our seventh annual Hospital Advocacy Day. Registration is open now through Dec. 3. Due to office space limitations at the Capitol, we recommend hospitals limit their registrations to three individuals. Please register each individual through the registration form separately. (CEOs, be sure to coordinate with your government affairs staff when registering.)
Advocacy Day provides members with the opportunity to meet with state lawmakers, advocate for health care priorities and tell the hospital story. To help members prepare, WSHA will provide talking points, a virtual briefing prior to the trip and take the lead scheduling your visits with lawmakers. WSHA will also host a welcome dinner Feb. 10.
WSHA has a limited room block at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Olympia/Lacey, and we will provide shuttle transportation between the hotel and the Capitol Feb. 11. The room block will remain open until Jan. 20, but we encourage members to reserve a room sooner, as we expect the block to fill quickly. Make your hotel reservation here.
Advocacy Day is a crucial opportunity to make your voice heard, both for your individual facility and for the larger hospital community. I hope to see you in Olympia in February!
Sincerely,
Jacqueline Barton True
