8 heart-transplant candidates transferred to Seattle hospital
Eight heart-transplant candidates have been transferred to UW Medicine following the suspension of a heart-transplant program at an Oregon facility.

Mid-Valley Hospital’s Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Abby Pattison & North Valley Hospital’s RDN, Sarah Beyler have teamed up to give monthly, hands-on tours at the local Walmart. The tours are designed to offer nutrition education, provide education on how to eat healthy on a budget and provide cooking tips.
