Northwest Kidney Center has awarded its president and CEO, Joyce F. Jackson, with the Clyde Shields Distinguished Service Award. The award is given to people who make significant contributions to the welfare of kidney patients. The award was announced on the 60-year anniversary of the first dialysis treatment for its namesake.
“Joyce Jackson earned a reputation as a compassionate, ethical, energetic leader,” Northwest Kidney Centers board chair Rich Bloch said. “She pushed the organization to excellence in every aspect of its mission: patient care, education and research.” More information is available online.
