The June 1 WSHA Quality Leader Learning Collaborative will bring together quality leaders, nursing leadership and medical leadership from hospitals in Washington and Oregon. This free conference will be offered in-person at the SeaTac Conference Center, with a virtual option for those who are unable to travel. Dr. Hardeep Singh will open the conference with a discussion on his recently published “Safer Dx Checklist: 10 High-Priority Practices for Diagnostic Excellence.” A team from MultiCare will then turn the conversation to supporting staff experiencing challenging circumstances. They will describe their innovative “Code Lavender” response program and the development of their employee wellness programming.
Registration is on WSHA’s website. Nursing continuing education credits are available. $200 stipends are offered for critical access hospital employees to support their participation in person. Contact Megan Herman (meganh@wsha.org) to apply for a stipend or for questions about the conference. (Megan Herman)
