Please join WSHA for a special webinar about Washington State’s Clean Buildings law from 1-2 p.m. on July 14, 2022. The Clean Buildings law requires commercial building owners to make energy efficiency improvements to their buildings that lower energy usage in compliance with the state’s Clean Buildings Performance Standard. Building owners must analyze their buildings’ current energy use intensity, determine a compliance pathway, implement energy efficiency measures, and report to the Department of Commerce in accordance with the compliance deadline schedule.
The webinar will feature an informative presentation by the Washington State Department of Commerce’s Clean Buildings team that will help hospitals plan for compliance. The presentation will be followed by time for Q&A with Department of Commerce staff. Please share the webinar information with facilities, finance, government affairs, and other relevant staff as appropriate.
