There is an error in the Medicare Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) Correct Coding Initiative procedure edit file released in January 2017. This error is causing certain combinations of occupational and physical therapy services to deny in error. CMS plans to fix the file error with its April update and had given interim instructions to Medicare Administrative Contractors.
