CHI Franciscan Health appointed retired Rear Admiral Michael Anderson, MD, as the health system’s new chief medical officer. Dr. Anderson has served as interim chief medical officer for CHI Franciscan since February, and he will be responsible for system-wide medical affairs, medical staff services, regulatory affairs and quality care.
Dr. Anderson joined Harrison Medical Center in 2013 and served as the vice president of medical affairs and associate chief medical officer of the Peninsula region.
