Annual Meeting spotlight – ‘Policy & Practice: The CMS Roadmap for the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency’

The session, “Policy & Practice: The CMS Roadmap for the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency,” will be a breakout session the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 18 at the WSHA Annual Meeting. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Regional Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ashby Wolfe will provide an overview of the CMS response to COVID-19, including highlights of the published Roadmap detailing how the agency is supporting preparations for the end of the public health emergency. This will include a description of actions related to some existing blanket waivers and proposed changes in the physician fee schedule for 2023.
