We have redesigned this year’s Annual Meeting into a virtual conference – the 2020 Annual Meeting eSeries. The 2020 Annual Meeting eSeries will take place from Sept. 16–Dec. 2, across five sessions. Mike Abrashoff will kick us off on Wednesday, Sept. 16 with “Turning the Ship Around: Culture is Everything.” Mike was the most-junior officer in the Pacific Fleet when he took command of the near-worst performing ship. Twelve months later, the USS Benfold was the best ship in the entire Navy – using the same crew. The story of that stunning transformation has lessons for every organization: leadership matters – and culture is everything.
Our goal is to make this series as accessible and valuable to our members as possible, while keeping the community feel of Annual Meeting.
