The 2016 PAC campaign is underway, with leadership from our PAC Advisory Committee, chaired by Russ Myers of Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. The committee has set an ambitious goal of raising a total of $220,000 this year, with an intermediate goal of raising $100,000 by August 31 so we can get early money in the hands of excellent candidates for office.
This is a pivotal election year. Our strong PAC enables us to help elect people who are going to be champions of health care and hospitals. We support candidates who understand our issues and help them become informed on complex health care policy. The PAC represents the unified voice of hospitals and health systems, and the collective voice is always a stronger voice.
