Registration for WSHA’s Hospital Advocacy Day has been extended to Friday, Dec. 13. This event is an important opportunity for hospital leaders to meet local lawmakers, advocate for health care priorities and share hospital stories. Hospital executives should coordinate with their government affairs teams to confirm who will attend, and all individuals should register separately. Due to office space limitations at the Capitol, we recommend hospitals limit their registrations to three individuals.
This year’s event is at the state Capitol in Olympia on Tuesday, Feb. 11, with a welcome reception and dinner the evening of Monday, Feb. 10. To help prepare for these meetings, WSHA will provide a virtual briefing in advance and schedule meetings with lawmakers. Find more information about the Advocacy Day agenda, lodging and registration online here. The Dec. 13 deadline will ensure WSHA can book lawmaker meetings on Feb. 11.
