This is the final week to sign up for Washington Hospital Services’ (WHS’s) Advanced Negotiations course, which kicks off May 1. This virtual course is designed for senior leaders and hospital executives who want to learn more sophisticated negotiating tactics that are grounded in science and research. Participants will learn how to communicate across ideological disagreements that could potentially happen in negotiations and how to use storytelling to build trust and demonstrate engagement with everyone at the bargaining table. Instructor Julia Minson is an associate professor of public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and the founder of Disagreeing Better, LLC, a boutique consultancy specializing in communication and negotiation training. Julia has taught negotiations to undergraduates, graduate students and executives for the last 15 years. Her research has been published in top academic and popular outlets.
