Confluence Health CEO and WSHA Past-Chair Dr. Peter Rutherford has been appointed to the Washington State EMS and Trauma Care Steering Committee. He will add to the dedicated efforts of the former representative, Providence Health Care Chief Operating Officer and Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Providence Holy Family Hospital Chief Executive Peg Currie.
The EMS and Trauma Care Steering Committee contributes to the future direction and growth of Washington’s statewide Emergency Care System, advocating for the health of all Washington residents. WSHA is pleased that with this appointment Dr. Rutherford will provide valuable perspective on the role of hospitals and health systems in the trauma care system.
