Following an announcement by Delta Dental to provide customers a 25 percent premium forgiveness from August through Nov., the Western Health Insurance Trust (WHIT) board unanimously decided to invest a portion of Trust reserves to extend the forgiveness for participating WHIT groups through March of 2021.
In announcing this program, the WHIT Trustees stated that they “Recognize the financial challenges you are all facing because of the pandemic and hope this program will help you and your employees as you navigate the critical months ahead. We also want to take this time to recognize Delta Dental for their partnership over the years as well as to thank each of you for your continued support of WHIT. It is this support that provides the means to extend this premium forgiveness program.”
