Local health care professionals recognized for Power of Rural

The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health recognized several members of our local health care community as 2019 Community Stars. These health care professionals are recognized for making a difference in the health of the communities they serve, specifically in areas including improving the rural health landscape, leadership development to grow health equity, rural health innovation and more. The Washington Community Star honored was Raleigh Anne Bowden, MD, a cohort community lead for the Washington Rural Palliative Care Initiatives.
