Open enrollment officially began November 1, and the deadline is December 15 to apply for health coverage that begins January 1. Despite the changes to the federal exchanges, Washington’s state exchange has some helpful resources for customers this year, including the Smart Planfinder tool to help customers pick the right plan. Other enrollment resources include:
- 13 full-service enrollment centers and broker assistance siteslocated throughout Washington State staffed with trained navigators and brokers who can guide residents through the enrollment process.
- The toll-free Customer Support Center (1-855-923-4633) that will provide additional support throughout the open enrollment period, hosting regular hours of operation on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Extended hours will also be offered leading up to important sign-up deadlines.
