WSHA Provides Draft Comments on CMS Outpatient Rule

WSHA is making available to members its draft comments on the 2021 CMS Proposed Outpatient Prospective Payment System and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Rule. In its comments, WSHA opposes the proposal to eliminate the inpatient-only list, the proposed reduction of 340B payments to hospitals to a net rate of ASP minus 28.7 percent, proposed additions to the ASC covered procedures list, and continuation of site-neutral reductions to grandfathered hospital clinics. WSHA encourages members to submit their own comments to CMS by October 5.  A copy of the proposed rule and submission link where comments can be submitted to CMS is here .
