Throughout Mental Health Awareness Month, we provided education on caring for your own mental health and shared resources on talking about mental health in positive, non-stigmatizing ways. As the month ends, we want to extend an invitation to action. This could be assessing your own mental health and seeking the necessary support, having a conversation with someone you care about who is struggling, advocating for person-centered language training in the workplace, or supporting community organizations like NAMI or Washington Recovery Alliance. Destigmatizing mental health is important and everyone can do something to make our communities a safer place for all. (Brittany Weiner)
