Register for trainings in March on caring for patients with substance use disorders

The University of Washington Addictions, Drug and Alcohol Institute (ADAI) recently announced two upcoming trainings on caring for patients with substance use disorders.

  • What’s the Latest? Methamphetamine and Psychosis, March 6, noon – 1 p.m.: “What’s the Latest?” is a quarterly webinar series highlighting current trends in substance use treatment. The upcoming session will focus on methamphetamine-associated psychosis and how it differs from an underlying psychotic disorder, as well as evidence-based approaches for treatment.
  • Using Extended-Release Injectable Buprenorphine for OUD, March 13-April 24, every other week, noon – 1 p.m.: This four-part series will provide education on prescribing injectable extended-release Buprenorphine and will cover prescribing in various unique settings, including pregnancy.
