The Psychiatry Consultation Line (PCL) is a free service offered to all providers in Washington State to create convenient access to psychiatric consultation when treating a patient with a behavioral health concern. The line is available 24/7, is staffed by UW Medicine psychiatrists and provides on-demand consults on patients ages 18 and older.
PCL recently launched online scheduling, in addition to the existing option of calling, for on-demand consults to increase access to this resource. Consults can be scheduled by email at pclwa@uw.edu, by phone at (877) 927-7924 or through an online calendar. Consults can be scheduled by providers or by staff members on their behalf.
