New WSHA webpage launched to support hospitals collecting and reporting patient demographics

All hospitals in WA are working to improve collection of patient demographic data, a new reporting requirement detailed in RCW 43.70.052(6) and WAC 246-455-025. If you are looking for patient education materials, definitions of demographic terms, staff training materials and tools for collecting patient feedback, then be sure to check out the new WSHA webpage. The page includes frequently asked questions such as age and workflow considerations. Additional resources created or deployed by hospitals to improve data collection and patient experience will continue to be added to this page.
