Join us for “The Impact of Long COVID on Behavioral Health” on Wednesday, Aug. 23, from 10-11:30 a.m. as we hear from Janna Friedly, M.D., M.P.H., and Tracy Herring, Ph.D., from UW Medicine’s Post-COVID Rehabilitation and Recovery Clinic. Register here.
Nearly one-in-five Americans report symptoms of long COVID, so it is imperative health care providers understand the challenges of long COVID and are equipped with the resources necessary to care for patients. The symptoms associated with long COVID can vary, but one area where there is noticeable impact is on behavioral health.
By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to recognize the impacts of long COVID on behavioral health, identify patients who are exhibiting behavioral health concerns, describe interventions to help address mood, anxiety and coping concerns. The webinar also aims to increase confidence in assessing and treating behavioral health issues for patients with long COVID.
This webinar is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider # CEP17702 for 1.5 contact hours. The recording will be made available for anyone who registers, but CECH are only available for those who attend the event live. Read more about the event and reach out to Brittany Weiner, Assistant Director of Behavioral Health at BrittanyW@wsha.org with any questions. (Brittany Weiner)
