In appreciation for the daily support of tissue donation, especially during the last year, LifeNet Health provided “gratitude garlands” to recognize and celebrate their hospital partners during Nurses Month and Hospital Week in May. The garlands were hung in lobbies and various units, each displaying donation facts, inspirational words and stories of gratitude from tissue recipients. The kindness, compassion and resilience of health care professionals has helped to change lives for the better and to nurture a spirit of hope amid the extraordinary challenges facing communities. LifeNet Health has expressed gratitude to health care professionals who have risen to the occasion with courage and strength – especially during the challenges of COVID-19. Without its dedicated health care partners, LifeNet Health would not be able to accomplish its mission of saving lives, restoring health and give hope to patients in need.
