Per RCW 70.41.420 and RCW 49.12.480, the following deadlines and tasks are required and begin on/by July 1, 2024:
- Hospital Staffing Committee Charters are due to the Department of Health (DOH).
- Draft staffing plans are due to hospital CEOs for review.
- Uninterrupted meal and rest break requirements take effect.
- Meal and rest break compliance tracking begins.
