The Heath Care Apprenticeship Consortium (HCAC) has announced a 2022 Employers Cohort for their Pharmacy Technician apprentice training program. HCAC offers a state-wide health care educational pathway of apprenticeship opportunities used by health care employers across the state and promotes accessibility, retention and stability within the health care workforce.
The 2022 Pharmacy Technician cohort starts Jan. 26. Employer-selected apprentices will participate in 264 hours of classroom and lab, and 2,000 hours of work experience. The cohort will earn a Washington CPhT registration after 9 months and full completion after one year.
HCAC has provided a Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Fact Sheet and Pharmacy Technician Cohort Flyer for interested employers to learn more. You can also visit the HCAC website or send questions to apprenticeship@healthcarefund.org.
HCAC is open to all health care employers in Washington. It is a multi-union and all-employer Washington State-registered Join Apprenticeship Training Committee, administered by the SEIU Healthcare 1199NW Multi-Employer Training and Education Fund. (Health Care Apprentice Consortium)
