HCA adds billing codes for Covid-19 vaccine for young children.

The Washington Health Care Authority (HCA) recently added new procedure codes to the Apple Health (Medicaid) COVID-19 vaccine clinical policy and fee schedule for clients ages 6 months to 4 years. The new codes, which are retroactive for claims with dates of service on and after June 17, 2022, are 91308 for vaccine administration and 0081A, 0082A, and 0083A for vaccine for the first, second, third dose respectively.
