Gov. Inslee mandates vaccines for state employees, health and long-term care workers

On Monday, Gov. Inslee issued an emergency proclamation that mandates public and private health care workers, long-term care workers and certain state employees to be fully vaccinated by October 18. Exemptions are allowed for medical and religious reasons. Personal or philosophical exemptions are not allowed. WSHA is working on coordinating opportunities to discuss this new mandate with the Office of the Governor and our members.
