DOH and Board of Health Request Input on Notifiable Conditions Reporting Costs

December 16, 2020

The Washington State Board of Health and the Washington State Department of Health are in the process of revising rules regarding provider and facility reporting of infectious and noninfectious conditions. They are seeking input on the draft rules to better understand the potential additional costs and help them decide what will be included in the proposed rule. If you wish to provide input, download and complete the survey Final Cost Questionnaire – Providers and Facilities.doc and submit your responses by Monday, December 28 via email to kaitlyn.donahoe@sboh.wa.gov with the subject line: “Notifiable Conditions Cost Questionnaire”. If you have questions, please contact Kaitlyn Donahoe, Policy Advisor for the Board of Health, at kaitlyn.donahoe@sboh.wa.gov or 360-584-6737. Additional information about the proposed rules is available on the rulemaking webpage. (David Streeter, DavidS@wsha.org)
