Washington Hospital Services is accepting registrations for the 2021 LEAD Academy. The LEAD Academy is the premier training program for new and emerging managers working in hospitals. In 2021 we are offering the Academy virtually in three different cohorts. The virtual LEAD Academy is presented in 12, 2.5-hour highly interactive modules with the same quality, rigor, and materials you experienced when you took LEAD. Because these are virtual you can participate from the comfort of your work or home (or anywhere you have access to high speed Internet). At the conclusion of the LEAD Academy, participating health care managers will be able to:
- Improve the performance of the people and groups that report to them
- Enhance their contribution to the achievement of facility and system objectives
- Increase their own self-management skills during every day and stressful situations
