Advocacy training webcast: Tips for meeting with state legislators — Aug. 29 and Sept. 13 (repeated sessions)

August 22, 2018

It’s hard to believe, but it’s already time to start preparing for the 2019 legislative session. Part of that preparation involves you meeting with your state legislators to tell your hospital’s story and talk about advocacy priorities.

Please join us for an advocacy training webcast at 9 am Wednesday, August 29 or noon on Thursday, September 13 for helpful tips for meeting with legislators. The same content will be available during both webinars and you can register at this link: https://attendee.gototraining.com/rt/1579300411761186050

WSHA Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Chelene Whiteaker, WSHA Senior Vice President of Membership and Communications Rhonda Curry and the WSHA Government Affairs team will lead a discussion of why your advocacy is so critical to success in Olympia. They will also rollout new advocacy materials that will be distributed after the webinar. We hope you can join us! Please invite other key leaders from your organization or board who may benefit from this webinar as well.

For information on registering, please contact Dana Pellegrini at DanaP@wsha.org or (206) 577-1852. (Chelene Whiteaker)
